17.1 Overview
Chapters 11–16 discussed various aspects of the design of the inference controller.
Chapter 11 described the architecture. Chapter 12 described details of the design
of the inference controller. Chapter 13 discussed aspects of representing the prove-
nance data. Queries based on regular expressions were the subject of Chapter 14.
Inference through query modification was discussed in Chapter 15. Finally, in
Chapter 16 we gave examples of inferencing with provenance data. In this chapter
