18.1 Overview
e focus of this chapter will be a risk model for inference control. at is, we
discuss a formal model that decides a comparable trade-off for releasing both data
and their associated provenance while hiding provenance in the case of intoler-
able losses. In Chapter 19 we discuss some novel approaches for inference control
including game theoretic models amd mathematical programming techniques.
