The vice president (VP) of organization XYZ checked the Intranet home page again—still nothing. All he got was an error message. For some reason, the Intranet site was not responding. He tried calling the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to inquire what is going on, and to his surprise, his IP Phone displayed an unregistered message! The VP walks into the office of the CTO, where he finds the IT manager and other top brass officials, all with a common expression, troubled. He is briefed that it is a network wide attack.
