History of Terminal Services
Terminal Services began life as a concept created by Ed Iacobucci while working on the OS/2 project at IBM. After gaining no interest from IBM on including this technology in OS/2, Ed left to found Citrix Systems, Inc. Ed and his team at Citrix Systems had signed an agreement with Microsoft allowing Citrix to modify the code and create a multiuser version of Windows NT 3.
