2.1 A Vehicle Wheel and Tire analogy

Much the same as the analogy that you will read in Chapter 3, if you think of your business as being like a vehicle, then there are numerous distinct parts, but some are more important to keeping the vehicle operational.

Before setting off on a long journey, you might consider reviewing the vehicle and finding which parts would be most impactful on the vehicle’s operability, should they become compromised or inoperable, and to analyze whether the risks to any high-impact parts are acceptable, or what contingency plans might be considered.
