- Access control
The process of providing and denying access to objects.
- Access Control Entry (ACE)
An individual entry in a DACL.
- Access Control List (ACL)
The list of access permissions for an object.
- Active Directory
Shared database of domain users, groups, computers, resources, and other information, along with network functionality to centralize and standardize network management and interoperation.
- Administrative control
A management action, written policy, procedure, guideline, regulation, law, or rule of any kind.
- Advanced Encryption Standard (AES)
An encryption algorithm adopted by the U.S. government in 2002 as the standard for encryption operations.
