Working with InternetExplorerDriver

Internet Explorer is the most used browser in the world followed by Firefox and Google Chrome so getting IEDriver working is going to be a high priority. The current version IEDriver supports IE6 through to IE9 so you will be able to test your websites work on old browsers right up to the latest modern version of the browser.

Note

If you haven't downloaded the IEDriverServer you will need to do it now for the following section. You will also need to set an environment path of where it is so InternetExplorerDriver in Java will know where to get it. This is similar to what we did for the ChromeDriver earlier.

On Windows do: set PATH=$PATH;\path\to\chromedriver.
