I’ll tell you up front: There’s not a lot you can do to drive viewers to your craigslist listings. craigslist, like eBay to some degree, is designed to let customers search for what they want—not to have merchandise pushed at them. Potential buyers have to find your listings, which they do by using craigslist’s search function.

The good part of this is that posting on craigslist is itself a form of promotion; the craigslist site provides tremendous visibility for what you’re selling.
