3. Putting Together a Successful Listing

When you have a craft to sell online, you need to tell people about it. No matter how you choose to sell your crafts—which site or sites you use—you need to write a compelling description of what you’re selling. That includes a captivating title and fully descriptive text.

This isn’t just “something you have to do,” either; it may be the most important part of the selling process. (After making the craft itself, of course.) It’s a fact that the better written and more effective your listing title and description, the more items you’ll sell. It’s just like advertising copy or product copy in a catalog: Great copy produces the best results.
