Part 2. Building mobile user interfaces

By now you’ve obtained core knowledge that’s essential to implementing the Sencha Touch framework. In this part you’ll start to see the various widgets that comprise Sencha Touch. You’ll also have an opportunity to look at how data-driven views work.

We kick things off with chapter 4, where you get an opportunity to look at how containers and layouts work to arrange your UI. Chapter 5 is focused on how components are “docked” and how to use toolbars effectively. Chapter 6 shows you how to use sheets and other widgets to focus the user’s attention.
