CHAPTER 5: SIAM ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This section of the BoK looks at roles and responsibilities in a typical SIAM ecosystem. This includes looking at the specific role of each SIAM layer, and the way that roles are grouped into structural elements.

A role is defined as “the position or purpose that someone or something has in a situation, organization, society, or relationship”.24

A responsibility is defined as “something that it is your job or duty to deal with”.25
