APPENDIX A: GLOSSARY OF TERMS

This glossary defines the terms used in this document. It expands the SIAM Foundation BoK glossary with additional terms.

Aggregation	Also referred to as service aggregation. Bringing together components and elements to create a group (or service).
Agile	A set of methods and practices designed to be applied for software development.
Agile retrospective	A meeting held at the end of an iteration, during which the team reflects on what happened and identifies actions for improvement going forward.
Agile SIAM	An approach to implement the core basic controls and structures of a SIAM model as a ‘minimum viable product’, with incremental improvements to realize rapid and regular value.
