Using the Serendip Framework
In this chapter we explain how to set up the deployment environment, how to deploy Serendip orchestration descriptions and interact with the deployed composites. For the demonstration, we use the RoSAS business scenario presented in this book. It should be noted that the Serendip framework (Chapter 7) is a further extension to the ROAD framework, which consists of the ROADfactory (core library) and ROAD4WS (Web service deployment platform). The ROADfactory 2.0 architecture is designed to support Serendip process enactment and the ROAD4WS 2.0 platform should be used to deploy the Serendip orchestration descriptions.
