carried out to ascertain whether or not the fault has been cleared. In some cases, however, the
fault may recur and it will then be necessary to examine the cause of failure. This may lie
elsewhere in the circuit since some faults give rise to a 'knock-on' effect where one
component failure leads to another.
Wherever possible during the fault finding process, reference should be made to the
