People

The People domain is the first of three HR knowledge domains within the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Body of Competency and Knowledge (BoCK). The People domain includes five functional knowledge areas: HR Strategic Planning, Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement & Retention, Learning & Development, and Total Rewards, all of which are knowledge areas necessary for technical job competence.
