There is one further variation of the double twist. In both cases we’ve looked at so far, the over all value of the proposition improves as consumption increases, either because the product itself got better, or because some ecosystem around the product got better.

The remaining case for us to examine is where consumption improves the over all value of the platform, but for each customer, the amount of value generated is localised by a much smaller subset of people than that associated with the whole platform.
