DOUBLE TWIST DESIGN

Single twists make some kind of behavioural dynamic external to the actual product transparent in order to encourage platform users into the kinds of behaviour that reinforce the twist. The double twist, by contrast, is much simpler: it relies on exposing the price/performance curve to users. This is done in different ways depending on the kind of double twist being implemented, as summarised in Table 6.5:
