11  Recursive Adaptive Filtering

In this chapter, we develop and demonstrate the use of some important applications of adaptive filters as well as extend the algorithms in Chapter 10 for multichannel processing and frequency domain processing. This book has many examples of applications of adaptive and nonadaptive signal processing, not just to present the reader with illustrative examples, but also as a vehicle to demonstrate the theory of adaptive signal processing. Chapter 10 contains many examples of adaptive whitening filters and Wiener filtering for system identification. Part IV will focus entirely on adaptive beamforming and related processing.
