General-Purpose Elliptic Lowpass Filters
This chapter is devoted to simplified design with elliptic lowpass IC filters (the EXAR Corporation XR-1015/16). These ICs are switched capacitor, so the passband is set by the clock frequency. The XR-1015 and XR-1016 are 7th-order devices that also provide synchronized sampled inputs and outputs. This feature permits the ICs to be cascaded without the need for additional sample/hold circuits. (Refer to Chapter (7) for additional information on cascading.)
