Practical Considerations for Switched-Capacitor Filters

This chapter is devoted to the practical side of switched-capacitor filters (SCFs), stressing both their capabilities and limitations. The discussion revolves around the Linear Technology IC filters, but also applies to all present-day SCFs in IC form. We start with a comparison of SCFs and active RC filters. (Chapter 9 describes the simplified design approach for active RC filters.)
