Simplified Design Examples
This chapter is devoted to simplified design examples for a cross section of filters. All of the design information discussed thus far in this book applies to the examples in this chapter. However, each circuit has special design requirements that are discussed as necessary. The circuits in this chapter can be used the way they are, or by scaling component values (Section 9.2.3), as a basis for simplified design of similar filters.
Keep in mind that when a component value is altered to get a different filter characteristic, it is quite possible that the value for other components must be changed. This problem is especially critical in active RC filters, but also affects switched-capacitor filters. For example, ...
