Introduction
Arena provides a number of facilities for model verification and validation which are covered briefly in this chapter.
Structured Walkthrough
A structured walkthrough can be achieved by reading through the computer model code to check that the correct data and logic have been entered. These should be checked against the conceptual model specification.
Arena is able to convert the model you have placed in the model window into the simulation language SIMAN. This consists of a model file containing the simulation logic modules and an experimental file containing the data modules. To view these files for a simulation, select the Run/SIMAN/View option.
