Up to now, we have introduced background information about vehicular networks and some
proposed MAC layer protocols for vehicular environments. In the following sections, we rst dene
the simulation settings and the generated trafc loads in our scenarios. Then, we evaluate the per-
formance of the aforementioned MAC protocols in the proposed vehicular scenarios.
