I love sketching and painting architecture. When I moved to Paris, I fell in love with the way light defines the shape and forms of the old-world buildings. Every detail suddenly became a handhold for sunlight or a refuge for shadows. Dormer windows, balconies, rooflines—all of these intricate details give personality to a building.
