CRM114
Unlike many of the other Bayesian filters, CRM114 is actually a language specifically designed for writing filters. The actual mail filtering in CRM114 is completely programmable. By default, most users use the package-supplied CRM program named mailfilter.crm, which offers a lot of configurability without a lot of work. If mailfilter.crm doesn’t meet your needs, it’s not difficult to create an entirely new filter in the CRM114 language.
For example, people have created web content filters for French elementary schools in CRM114, as well as Usenet analysis and content extraction tools. You probably don’t need this at the very start, but the power is available.
