What are the concerns, hopes and issues that SME operators deal with? What makes small business owners lie awake at night? If you really want to understand the small business sector, then you have to know what these factors are.

As we’ve pointed out in earlier chapters of this book, we need to stop thinking of small firms as one common, universal and standardised group.
