Introducing the Seekers

The Seekers were originally called Financially Constrained Growth Aspirers – which is a bit of a mouthful. According to our sample, they represent approximately 14 per cent of all businesses in the economy. They tend to be younger businesses (but not always), mostly seeking growth but struggling to achieve it. About two-thirds are not performing to the expectations of the owners and fewer than half of the owners are satisfied with the performance of the business.
