Abstract
Smart farming is a cutting-edge agricultural approach that integrates advanced technologies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and sustainability. This method addresses the rising global demand for food due to population growth while aiming to conserve natural resources and mitigate climate change impacts. Utilizing technologies such as sensors, drones, robots, precision agriculture, and the Internet of Things (IoT), smart farming collects and analyses data to make informed decisions and optimize agricultural processes. By monitoring factors like soil moisture, temperature, nutrients, and pests, smart farming empowers farmers to manage crop growth more effectively. This technology-driven approach reduces input costs, boosts yields, and minimizes environmental impacts, presenting a sustainable alternative to traditional farming practices. With the global population projected to reach 9.7 billion by 2050, a 70% increase in food production will be necessary.
