Within the realm of crowdfunding, as an open call is often made through the Internet, the factors that can make a contribution to a project’s success include (non-exhaustive list) the specified project fundraising goal, the success rate of competitive projects, the backer’s incentives, the profile of the project, the type of information available, the project initiator’s credentials and creditability, etc. Among these factors, social capital tends to be widely used by all parties.
