In this chapter, we learned some basic techniques in building an autonomous robot. We also explored several robot platforms on which to build your own robot project. We took one of the robot platforms, the Pololu Zumo robot for Arduino, for our exercise. We integrated the robot with navigation module to build a navigated robot. For the last topic, we tracked our robot with the map engine Google Maps API.
In the next chapter, we will learn how to integrate voice technology into your smart IoT projects.
