20 Microphones
Microphones come in all shapes and sizes. Some are desk or podium mounted, others are on a boom, and yet others are connected to lapels. Many VC microphones are built into the camera itself so you do not have to worry about them at all.
Do not be fooled into thinking a smaller microphone means less volume. Today’s microphones are more sensitive than ever. Many are multidirectional and will pick up the softest whisper or background noise. They can be set so the various voice strengths of everyone seated at a table will project at the same volume.
