Twitter is a wonderful tool for sharing quick ideas, links, and articles. It offers the user access to industry experts, authors, like-minded practitioners, fellow hobbyists, and, yes, celebrities. It is a pure communication tool, with a quick flow of information and a single feed available to all users (unless you choose to block a particular user or one chooses to block you). It’s a great place to find help or advice: Some describe it as a “virtual water cooler.” The 140-character limit teaches one to be concise and get to the point.
