Security starts with you. Always create passwords that are alphanumeric: made up of a mix of numbers, uppercase and lowercase letters, and symbols. The longer the password, the more difficult it is to hack. So if the site lets you have fifteen characters, you should make your password fifteen characters. Keep these passwords in an encrypted file on a flash drive, and keep the drive in a safe place.
