How to get Node.js

Due to the popularity of Node.js, it is very easy to get it working on any operating system. You can go to and download the appropriate distribution for your operating system.


Though Node.js works on any OS, as it comes from the *nix background, many modules might only work on Linux or other Unix systems; so it is best to use such a system if you have one at hand.
