6.9 DETAILED DESIGN
e detailed design is rened to the lowest level necessary for implementa-
tion. ese substeps are iterated as needed to decompose the design from
the level of soware components to the level of soware units in prepara-
tion for coding.
6.9.1 Components into Software Units
e top-level soware components will be decomposed into lower-level
soware units. Use the concepts and constraints established by the archi-
tecture as guidelines to rene and expand the design to more detailed lev-
