Chapter 10. Executing Ownership Transfer

Ownership transfer does not debunk knowledge. After all, one cannot take ownership without appropriate knowledge. At EuroT, we spent quite a bit of time and effort in defining how knowledge and ownership would be transferred. In Bangalore, we came together and had sessions about how to involve the London teams on the ownership transfer. Bangalore looked at the London team as its customer. This made sense in that, by the end of the exercise, London should be satisfied and confident enough to take ownership.
