Abstract

The main objective of this research was to analyze and investigate the influence of various parameters such as reinforcement materials, soil types, and grid-fixed reinforcement (GFR) on the uplift capacity of symmetrical anchor plates of different shapes, such as circular, square, and rectangular. This could only be done when the cohesionless soil unit weight was controlled as the constant factor, thus implying the significance of the cohesionless soil placement method during the preparation prior to testing.
