In the thermomechanical solar cooling system, the thermal energy is converted to the mechanical energy. Then the mechanical energy is utilized to produce the cooling effect.
The steam ejector system represents the thermomechanical cooling technology. Fig. 7.29
illustrates the steam ejector system integrated with a parabolic SC. The steam produced by the SC is passing through the steam jet ejector E. During this process, the evaporator pressure is reduced, and water is vaporized in the evaporator V by absorbing the heat from the cold water.
