Part 4: Service Access Facility
This part describes the Solaris Service Access Facility (SAF) in three chapters.
Chapter 10 provides an overview of the SAF and describes the port monitors and services used by the SAF. Chapter 11 describes how to set up and administer the SAF for modems and terminals. Chapter 12 describes how to set up and administer the SAF for printers and how to troubleshoot printing problems.
Refer to the chapters in this part if you need to set up a new SAF service for terminals, modems, or printers, or to modify an existing configuration.
