NETWORK TERMINOLOGY
The following is a list of important network terms:
Computer networks. A computer network is a collection of computers connected to each other over a communication medium. A network is usually a combination of hardware and software. Both of these elements are integrated together to provide different services.
Host or node. A node or a host is any device connected to a network. It can be a personal computer, a workstation or server, a router, or any other device.
