The above caption refers to a popular book by John Gray that focuses on the challenges that we humans face in communicating our needs with other people who do not share our perspective. In Gray's book, the parties are men and women respectively. Neither is right nor wrong, but both have very different approaches to life. The key to success, in Gray's view, is to maintain your separation, but understand the other's perspective. Then the relationship can meet the needs of both parties as effectively as possible.
