11.4 NEBULA
Nebula is a federal cloud computing service served by NASA. Nebula is
listed as an open-source project. However, unlike general open-source
cloud solutions, Nebula had a dedicated mission to support NASA scien-
tic tasks with a private cloud. The beta version of Nebula was released in
September 2010.
11.4.1 Architecture
Figure 11.10 presents the architectural components of the Nebula
