PowerPoint 95 Format Issues
A co-worker used PowerPoint 95 to open and edit a presentation that had been saved in “PowerPoint
2003-97 & 95” format. The next time I opened the presentation in PowerPoint 2003, the animated
charts wouldn’t work.
PowerPoint 95 doesn’t support animated charts, so when you saved the file in PowerPoint
95, you lost that feature. There’s no way to retrieve it, so you’ll have to rebuild the anima-
tion from scratch. If you have co-workers who use this outdated format, we recommend that
you give them read-only access to the file (perhaps using the PowerPoint Viewer) and ask
