Creating a Summary Slide
5. If you want PowerPoint to automatically update the data from Excel every time you
open your presentation, click the Paste Link option. Otherwise, use the default Paste
option.
6. Select Microsoft Excel Worksheet Object and click OK.
The pasted range (or chart) appears on the slide. From that point, you can resize and move
the range as you like. Double-click the range to activate Excel and make changes to the
range, with the full power of Excel available to you.
