Choosing the Right File Format
Access 2003 and Access 2002 share a common file format, making it easy to share database
files between the two versions. If you expect that you will want to use your database with
earlier versions of Access, however, you need to pay special attention to your file format
options.
To guarantee backward compatibility with older versions, any new databases you create
