Installing the Sample Databases
I want to look through the Access sample databases to see whether I can glean any ideas or borrow
any objects or code, but the Open dialog box doesn’t include shortcuts for the samples, and I can’t find
them anywhere on my hard disk.
Before you can open the sample files, you have to install them. If you click a shortcut, the
Windows Installer handles this chore automatically, but as you’ve discovered, the shortcuts
to the sample files are available only when you first begin using Access. After you’ve worked
