When you are done, save the Excel or Word file and store it in your My Data Sources
folder. You can then use this data source as the data source for a catalog or mail merge in
Publisher.
If you have multiple data sources for a merge, you can use the same catalog merge template
with each of the data sources. This will be easier if the field names in all the data sources are
the same. However, if they aren’t, an indicator will appear in your merge template indicating
that a merge field is missing. You can then delete the field and replace it with the appropri-
ate merge field from this other data source.
