The Office Resource Kit contains an Excel file, ERRORMSG.xls (found at C:\Program Files\ORKTOOLS\ORK11\Lists and Samples\Customizable Alerts), that contains a listing of error codes and their corresponding error messages. You can use this file to look up the error code for error messages you receive in Office 2003. The Excel file is segregated by Office application. Open the Excel file in read-only mode to use it. You can use this file to redirect users to internal Web sites that provide detailed explanations of tasks specific to your corporate environment.
