No program can be all things to all people. There are probably PIM features you need that Outlook doesn't provide. In that case, you can use a large number of third-party add-ins to add more PIM functionality to Outlook. Some of the add-ins that can be particularly helpful are

• Extended Reminders— Outlook supports reminders only in your default folders. If you create other folders for filing your Outlook items, you cannot flag those items for follow up and have a reminder trigger.
