Changing the Way Outlook Works

After you install Outlook, there are numerous option settings you can play with to cause Outlook to behave and display information the way you want. Some of these options control how information is displayed, others control how information is sent, and still others display how information is secured. Even if you never change any of these settings, understanding what they do and how to change them can greatly enhance your Outlook experience.

CAUTION

Some installations of Outlook cannot be highly customized. If Outlook was installed by your corporate IT department, it might have been preconfigured with your corporation's settings. Check with your IT department before changing any of Outlook's default settings.
